ANGLED TRAPEZOID SPORTLINE STYLE BLACK SIDE BARS
Has anybody got or had the side bars in the thread title fitted ?
Wondered what the fitment was like and also the mounting points and if they hang low.
I have a maxi and is quite low so before i pull the trigger i thought I'd ask opinions, they look a close fit to sills which i like and also the style of them, ill add pics to show from their site.
Cheers, tony

Re: ANGLED TRAPEZOID SPORTLINE STYLE BLACK SIDE BARS
Been like that for months mate lol, I took my normal sidebars off cause I just couldn't get them to sit right they had a massive gap between the bar and the sill, so I was looking at getting these ages ago.
Got bored in lockdown so I thought I'd try again with mine, after alot of bending brackets and lots and lots of washers and spacers Iv managed to get them where I want. But I do like the black angled ones, but from my experience with my ones they take a lot of messing about with to get them looking like the online pics lol

If there like the round ones from vanstyle they fit in the 2 holes under the front footwell
And the 2 hole up behind the back of the rear break pipes on the chassis at the back , mine are from there but are standard round

@Mattyh606 thanks for the reply ill check out these mount points, is the brackets/mounts big and bulky on yours ? Ive read some people with low vans catching them whilst driving and so want to avoid this but they dont show a pic of the fitting kit unfortunately. Thanks

I'll get you a pic of mine by the end of the day , I only catch the splitter and the plastic angle that's in the middle of the van in the middle , not sure what that's for though

First is front
Other 2 are rear , they are vanstyle bars , I'd imagine that the trapeze are the same fixing method

Re: ANGLED TRAPEZOID SPORTLINE STYLE BLACK SIDE BARS
@Mattyh606 nice one thanks for that, i can see now the gap from floor to bar, so dropping off a curb depending on height could be an issue lol.
I'll probs try keep abit of money back and get them at end of may. Did you fit yours yourself and is it straight forward if you did.

See that's odd, how your brackets fit much better than mine, when I fit them straight on one side was sticking out 3 inches further than the other side, mine took so much messing about to get them right

Re: ANGLED TRAPEZOID SPORTLINE STYLE BLACK SIDE BARS
Yeah I have to say the instructions are a little shit , you'll need to jack it up unless you have a pit , mines lowered and cant pull up a curb but can back up one ok , the bars have good clearance, I've had a few bits from vanstyle over the past few years and been happy with some and less happy with other

Re: ANGLED TRAPEZOID SPORTLINE STYLE BLACK SIDE BARS
@gazza31112 it said 10 to 15 mins a side on the instructions but was more like 45 , the front fixing were different I the packet to the instructions , my roof bars were poor aswell the rubbers didnt fit down to the roof anyhow I'd liked , they were vanstyle too

Re: ANGLED TRAPEZOID SPORTLINE STYLE BLACK SIDE BARS
Only thing i had from them was the rear spoiler which i went and fetched as im near by and wanted to check the quality, once painted and fitted its spot on and they seamed decent guys. On their ebay shop it says 60 -120 mins fitting time lol. I'll end up getting them its just a matter of money and work at the minute and how things play out with the government pay scheme thingy.
Once im all fitted up I'll report back so thanks for your input lads
