Dq250 swop happiness.

What have been done

Mechatronics harness done
Selector harness done.
Can wires done
Kline wire done
Brake pedal done.
Dsg flaps on mfsw done.
Glass dsg shifter head tested and working done.


What's to do.

Clutch pedal delete.
Gearbox swop
Sleeve bearing to fit.
Selector to be fitted
Dq250 oil cooler

Then coding and then we good.

Will then do at a later stage better clutched and software. So that the car can hold more power.

So today has been eventful

New hose for the passager side rear brake caliper

Manual Gearbox out. Thank goodness. Just in time.
Fingers is broken on the clutch.
And it's burnt to the end of its days.

So the dsg swop is complete.

Had to get new drive shafts makes that is slightly shorter.
Dsg cooler in.
Slip ring was changed.
Coding ans a lot a wiring.
Dsg had it's adaptation done.
Clutch pedal delete


Every working the why it should.

Just have a few small issues to solve.
Need to start the car manually.
Stage two file to go back on.
Immo recoding.

So I broke a drive shaft.
Lol.


So quickly made a plan to get a new drive shaft took my chances and arranged a.
Vw Golf mk6 gti dsg passenger side shaft.

And it fits perfectly.

So complete Parts list needed for this task
1. Dsg Gearbox 02e ........
2.Selector complete with knob and boot.
3. Dsg cooler / firings / piping.
4. Dsg oil 5.5lt to 7lt.
5. Drive shafts from the dsg car left and right.
6.Dsg gearbox mounts.
7.Gearbox Megatronics plug / Selector plug / custom build harness from box to selector to car electronics.
8. Flywheel and starter.
9.Crank Pilot bearing.
10. Engine bolts from the dsg box.
11. Coding
12.Ecu from Dsg car or a tuner to edit the file at a very costly price
13.Bigger and stronger battery.

New stage 2 plus file loaded. max boost is 1600 bar

cant go higher my Wifes Hairdryer is stronger than my turbo

but have done the dsg software and its a very lovely ride

On the rollers .
Just to see what the gain will be. Never had the caddy on a Dyno.

Stock is 81kw and 250nm on the flywheel.
This is roughly 68wkw 210nm on the wheels.

With the mods done.
We getting
110wkw and 376nm on the wheel.
Not bad.
