I’m looking to upgrade to a MFSW in my 2014 SWB. I’m aware it will need coding with VCDS and I’ve got someone that can do that for me.
I’ve managed to find a tutorial for a T5 on YouTube but can’t seem to find anything in depth for the Caddy.
In the T5 you have to run a couple of extra cables (one to light switch and one to BCM) can anyone tell me if it’s the same in the Caddy? Or better yet post a link with a decent tutorial!
I have indeed, only just though Fingers crossed I can find what I’m after! Think I’ve found a compatible wheel and airbag so just need a ‘how to’ guide to help me on my way!
New BCM!!!
I've never seen a new BCM fitted to a caddy to enable MFSW. Sounds like someone is trying to have your pants down with that description and price.

Good to know Doc, I’ll question them today... I’m more than happy to have a go myself if I’ve got a tutorial to follow. I did think it was odd as the video I watched on the T5, all they did was wire into the existing BCM...
Your caddy is not a T5, there are no wires to go to the BCM and absolutely nothing to do to the BCM in terms of coding or otherwise.

I see... Sounds like I’m being seen off!!
Any chance you could point me in the right direction of a ‘how to’ thread? I feel like I’m more than capable of doing this myself and saving a few quid... Cheers
If wanting cruise on the wheel you will need to do more work involving soldering on a new module from spacewalker.
If no cruise, you will need to make sure everything is compatible but should be a case of install and code
