Re: A Good Caddy
Do the MK8 seats bolt direct to the Touran bases still, how did you go with the airbags?

Re: A Good Caddy
Hi Cgiorgi, yes they fit on the Touran bases. I already had the seat wiring adapters tommyzooom made for the MK7 seats I had before; and the air bag plug was the same. I had to put a red 17 pin connector plug 4F0972575B on for the seatbelt and seat occupancy sensor and pinned them out using these Current Flow Diagrams.

What is the part numbers for the charcoal vents, did you cut the holes out and install the clips?

Re: A Good Caddy
Hi Cgiorgi,
I put the part numbers in the Useful Parts section https://caddy2k.com/forum/viewtopic.php ... 68#p427368
No I didnt cut the dash for the clip, I would have only been able to make use of one of the clips because there was nothing there for the rest of the clips to clip into, just the empty space above the glove box. They fit in perfect with out the clips and don't move or make any noise.
Having said that I could have swore I seen a picture of a part that fills the empty space above the glove box, and it had holes for all the clips to clip into. But I thought about cutting the hole for the clip so much its possible I dreamt about that part as I searched the parts diagrams and couldn't find it

Re: A Good Caddy
Was this a new Touran ratchet armrest in black? If so, do you have a part number? I’m looking at installing exactly the same in mine?FishermansFriend wrote: ↑Tue Aug 02, 2022 8:24 pm Some new parts delivered today. Re: A Good Caddy
Hi, yes they seem to be Touran part numbers but in Titan Black to match the MK4 interior. There are a few parts you need, you can see them in the two parts diagrams below.

Re: A Good Caddy
Thank you so much for this. I’ve got all the parts into a basket at lllparts.co.uk but a few part numbers just don’t register on their system. Can I ask, where did you get all the bits from? Did you use the Russian site ilcats? I couldn’t find a translate option or drop down to use an English speaking version.FishermansFriend wrote: ↑Sat Aug 20, 2022 7:32 pm Hi, yes they seem to be Touran part numbers but in Titan Black to match the MK4 interior.
