Just read this whole thing in one go absolutely amazing transformation, your attention to detail and determination is outstanding, if this van is in Ireland I would love to see it some time to admire it in person. Brilliant work mate :D

I had the van out in some snow recently and I was surprised how bad it handles in the snow. There was a hill I couldn't make it up, on the last attempt the van ended up on the other side of the road and another Caddy came over the hill on the opposite side and when he seen me braked and was sliding towards me, I don't know how he missed me TBH, he missed me by a fraction of an inch. After I was pretty shuck up so I pulled into a farmers lane and got out and the van started to roll off, I had to run after it and jump into the driver seat and regain control. Someone was looking over me that day. I wonder if I had the traction control button installed would it have handled any different.

You should trade this in for a Fiat Doblo, they’re unreal in the snow ;)

Glad you and the van are in still one piece!

Time for some new brake pads and I have a brake pad wear sensor I'd like to install while I'm at it.
