Some really nice detail in your cabin. Magic place to be for you now.
It would be so nice to have accessibility to Touran parts in AUS.

Fantastic work! It’s a great thread to follow.

Hi Ralph,

Thanks very much. I couldn't imagine going fishing without the van, I get to combine my 2 favorite hobbies into one ;)

Wiring harness completed for push buttons for Park Assist, Tire Pressure and Electronic Stabilization. Everything wired per the VW Current Flow Diagrams.

Seen a CANbus extension harness on Ali Express so thought I'd get it and see what it was like, saves soldering. The 3 black plugs on the extension cables were crappy 3 pin ones so I took them off and put on some genuine VW 2 pin ones.

Installed a 5pin connector in the harness for the Scirocco gage pod, make it a lot easier to take in and out if needed.

Thank you Dale. I didn't like the fit of them out of the box, the gaps were to big. The instructions say to glue on and they have double sided tape also but I didn't glue mine. I took the tape off and messed about with different thickness of tape before I got a fit I was happy with.

I didn't install the buttons/ wiring yet, I was looking for the correct connectors for the push buttons. After going through all the different colors I found the correct ones that fit without trimming the connector to make it fit, (1) 8W0971636B for the TPMS and (2) 8W0971636D for Park Assist/ ESP are the correct connectors.
