After doing a few trial cuts on my spare door cards I went ahead and cut my caddy life upholstered door cards and installed the door warning lights. I ended up bonding the lights to the back of the door card with some tiger seal, had to sand down the back of the light housing and the back of the door card where the housing touches so it all fits snug. In order for it face of the door light to sit flush with the face of the door card I had to recesses it at the bottom slightly.

With the nice weather yesterday I worked on the van for the 1st time in a while. I finally got the passenger mirror to dip when in reverse gear, it returns to its normal position when I drive off and reach a certain speed. The mirror control knob has to be in the L position for the mirror to dip. The correct mirror motor, wiring, door control modules and coding in the Door Control and Central Electronics modules was all that was needed. I have the passenger and driver mirror up, down, left, right controls working as they should also.
Sorry to drag this up but wanted some more info on what was needed to make this work?
I have the option on the dash for the mirror drop but it doesn't work.
I have no idea what modules/motors/sensors I have so need to investigate but feels like I should be close to getting this working.

I will provide the details in the how to section of the form soon when I have some time. I was on holidays and busy catching up and getting my brakes sorted.
