Bought 19 inch veemans before purchasing the van which was a mistake. 9.5j is too wide for the sliding door and I had to learn that the hard way.

I’ve changed them to 18 inch Nogaro’s. Nicer looking and suit the van much better too

I started out just wanting to change a small few things like changing the seats and upgrading head unit but the longer I have the van the longer the list seems to get
The mods I’ve done to the van so far are :
Gt seats on touran bases
Touran center console with ratchet armrest
Touran door cards
RCD 330 head unit
Reverse camera
Side rail cover
Mk4 smoked rear lights
Team heko wind deflectors
Smoked sequential side repeaters
Round heater knobs
Gti gear knob and gaitor
Mods left to do:
Cruise control
Mfsw flat bottom
Sun strip on windscreen
Touran dash
Caddy life wing mirrors
Re map
Mk4 rear bumper
High line instrument cluster
And most importantly get her lowered

You've also added a rear spoiler
Looking good. Wish they did sequential side indicators for the mk4.

Thanks buddy. I think the t6 sequential side repeaters will fit with a small bit of modification.

Good luck with your caddy. I've been learning the hard way to, did the same buying the wheels before the van. I see you have lowering on your list, I bought coilovers to lower my van, i'm having a real hard time finding an insurance company to insure me. You may want to make a few phone calls to insurance companies to see if they will insure you before you make your purchase.

Thanks Fisherman, i think coilovers are a no go but you should be okay with lowering springs and a rear flip kit that is road legal.
I renewed my policy a few week ago with fbd and had a chat with them about lowering while I was on the phone and that’s what I was told.
I think I’m going to go with eibach springs, just not sure whether 40mm or 60mm yet. And find a rear flip kit that isn’t “for off-road use only”

just wondering was the arm rest in it or did you fit it yourself?
Also, love the look of the seats

I'm going through this now and it looks like ill go with 40mm Eibach springs. I called Eibach this morning and they emailed me the TUV certificate, from what i can make out you need to bring this certificate with you to the CVRT center, otherwise they will fail you for the axle flip. i am going to call the CVRT center tomorrow to make sure before I proceed as I have learnt the hard way on this mod also
A lot of users on here seem to have got the Eibach kits on amazon Eibach E10-85-019-02-22 Performance Pro-Kit Springs, seems to be the cheapest.
The insurance agents and brokers I spoke with didnt mention a difference between coilovers or springs, once it was been lowered they said they wouldnt cover me. Ill call FBD tomorrow and specifically mention springs and see what they say.

I installed the armrest myself. The van was completely standard when I bought it and all mods so far have been carried out by me.
I want to do as many of the mods as I can by myself but I’ll need to get someone else to do things like coding etc.

I might have told a white lie to FBD when I was enquiring about lowering the van. I told them that it would be lowered by a vw dealership but as they use the eibach setup anyway I don’t think it will matter who does the actual install.

I bought a touran for breaking for €100 so I've taken all my parts out of that

A small job done today. Interior light from vw touran with reading lights. It’s the small things that make all the difference
