After a couple of weeks delay, my Caddy arrived today - I love it!

Has Alarm Pack B, Visibility Pack B, Rear Door Pack A, Seat Pack A, Aircon with uprated alternator and leatherette upholstery

Stupidly forgot to tick the electric windows option - doh!

First mod is in the garage, awaiting fitting...

And it's off to get a reversing camera fitted on Wed at the same time as the wheel.

Big question is do I need any extra bits for the GTI steering wheel paddles to work with the DSG box? I presumed the wheel already fitted to the van would have them, but nope.

Any ideas?

Caddy is a big change from the L200 Diamond it is replacing, but much nipper, more economical, practical, nicer to drive and that DSG box is awesome!

Love van buddy, welcome to the club and best of luck with the new van.
You gonna keep the van that clean the whole time? You'll have your work cut out!
Your gonna need a new airbag cable to join to the steering wheel, not sure what else is needed for the DSG paddles.
Not many DSGs around, how does it drive?

I've got four vehicles at home now - 3 black and one BRG

And nope, they aren't generally that shiny!

Drives beautifully - the 6 speed DSG is a cracker :)

Thanks chaps!

Andy @ Ice Cold Audio in Reading is fitting my wheel and camera, and he can retrofit OEM electric windows too - should be getting a price over weekend sometime ;)

Which cable is this? Do you have the part number?

So that's all I need to connect the GTI wheel?

oooops. This cable is for the multi-funtion steering wheel with paddle shift.
You may need a different one for just paddle shift.

The same cable should do both Multi function and non Multifunction.
The steering wheel control module will need to be MFSW compatible also, it's in the steering column on the bottom.
You'll need a highline one, the list of modules is on the Ross-Tech site.

You can use Vag-Com to read which type of module is in you Caddy.

Excellent - thanks!

Andy has got VAG COM and he thinks it won't be a problem

Price for retrofitting OEM electric windows is £340, so not dissimilar to getting them fitted at the factory!
