Re: SWB MK3 1.9TDi Build thread
@neil278 I have almost everything in this list, exception for the looms and relay for the compressor, part of the wiring from the Climatronic to the car control unit, a couple of temp sensors and the sunlight sensor.
Ah, is the double fan mandatory for the cooling radiator?

I haven’t fitted the double rad fan. On looking at cars being broken on eBay I see both fitted to cars with ac so decided not to

Yeah, I think I read here around that it's optional, but probably a good idea for the summer italian temperatures! ;-)

Hi Neil,
I hope you can help. I came across this thread following watching a YouTube vid where you are mentioned.
I have a caddy with touran door cards and the central locking isn’t working. I went to follow the guide on what pins to move around and found out that this had already been tampered with and I currently don’t have a starting point. I think the white wires are numbered. Would you know what white wire goes where on each drivers / passenger side?

This post saved my day, you legendneil278 wrote: ↑Thu Aug 27, 2020 6:08 pm Move pin 11 to 12 - pin 13 to 16 (this wire not present on passenger side) - pin 7 to 6 - pin 15 to 7 and pin 16 to 13. The red and yellow wire from position 12 now needs to go into 18.
Door modules were 5K0 959 792 on the passenger side and 5K0 956 793 on the drivers side
Now everything is working as it shouldjust need to get the door cards cleaned up and fitted, then upload some pictures but it’s now pissing it down

(I have a 2011 caddy with 2007 door modules but was just what I needed to get the re-pinning done) central locking/mirrors and windows now sorted
Cheers

Just want to say - a massive thanks to you for this re-pinning info. Without this I would have been stuffed. In my case I used it to change from the old 1K0 959 793 door module on my 2013 Caddy which had the white wiring numbered from factory - to the new 5K0 595 793 KLO with motor I installed.

Do you remember the part number you used to get the steeringwheel buttons to work? I have the same wheel installed and I would love to get the buttons working

Yer it’s 1k0953549CH
To use the buttons on the right hand side you need a multifunction display, as that’s what it controls
