Central door locking

Hi does anybody know how to set the door to lock above 9mph on a mark 4 caddy 19 plate...I keep getting a message saying check safety lock?
Mine says check safety lock when I turn the ignition off, the manual didn't make it very clear to me, something about deadlocking and if its on the handles inside won't open the doors. Its somthing I intended to ask about myself.
Double pressing the lock button removed it or puts it on, it wasnt quite clear.
I think the auto lock feature is different and needs coding in.
