Re: Blue MK3 Caddy MTB daily build
A busy day but delighted with the result
Collected Mk6 Gtd seats and gearknob and decided to fit all the bits as it was a day for the ducks.
Heads up to anyone buying touran bases remember to get the bolts too i had none so got 8 from the breakers with the seats.
Stiched the gaiter to the caddy plastic ring wit the wires from a few springs of clicky pens.
time consuming but it worked
Ill post better pictures wen the sun shines again

Re: Blue MK3 Caddy MTB daily build
Got the interior cleaned yesterday, I'm really happy with the result. Slight bit of a wrinkle in the drivers bolster not sure is this from the scrapyard as there was pieces of trim lying across the seats might get an upholsterer to tighten the fabric.
Ordered a switch panel for the heated seats it should be here in 2 weeks.
On the look now for a GTD or scirocco steering wheel and Touran door cards and then ill tackle the rear with insulation sound deadening and carpet.

where did you get the fog lights from?rayflynn91 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 13, 2021 10:34 pm Picked up a fog light kit and gel plates
Just finished fitting it i will upload a pic in daylight
Wiring these was actually hassle free the loom was laid out well,
hardest parts was getting wire through bulkhead along bonnet release cable to go to the switch.
went for a xenon look bulb
