Is it that easy to do your self
Yeah helps with impact wrenches and a variety of tools especially a 22mm socket and a long 7mm hex bit for top mounts and I would recommend planning ahead just in case of rusty seized bolts or old broken parts
So today I went to my container and dug out my Mk4 Golf Recaros and fitted them on my Caddy seat bases which only took about a total of 2 hours.
They are also heated but no need for that just yet as Summer is on its way!
As you can see they were a bit grubby and moldy
Once cleaned and fitted I think they go really well, Just a shame about the light grey plastics.
Got the new wheels on today and raised the rear up a bit now I think when I've got more time I need to move the axle forward as the tyres scrub the plastic arch liners. Just need to give it a clean then get some better photos.
Haven't done much with the Caddy recently other than adjust/modify the racking in the rear and re-gassed the aircon with one of those bottles which you can buy from Halfords. Put a fair few miles on too with a 700 mile roadtrip up to the lake district which was surprisingly nice!
