Project Micro Camper...

Post by fazer909 »

Picked up this van.... does need some TLC , Previous owner painted parts of the van with a rattle can ... and pretty badly And the wrong colour  so its gonna be a kind longer term project to get it fixed up... will give progress as im going along ...

Image
this is how it was picked up ... not a fan of the go faster stripes .... first thing was to take them off

Image
started building the benches on this one .... going to be a 'U' Shape bed .... more on that soon

Image
Carpet time !

Managed to get a hold of white trims localy, i love the white clean look and how it makes a massive difference to the look with these trims

Result! It looked like vinyl at first glance in your photo, didn’t realise it was carpet.

I’ve currently got some household vinyl that I got for cheap from a local supplier (from their offcuts). Looking into a more permanent solution so this has given me something to think about

Looking great, awesome job there! Did you make the cushions/covers yourself?

It certainly is!

Fair play to you, cushion covers was one of the two things (along with diesel heater) I paid someone to do on my conversion as my sewing machine skills are totally non-existent!

Looking forward to seeing more of your progress
