These really were in great condition tbh.
Front discs and pads ordered from autodoc, for once I found someone cheaper than LLL parts.
Awaiting the arrival of my dust shields now.
Will say that if I had done my research a bit more thoroughly, I could have bought theses calipers new from autodoc for the same price that some are selling for on ebay.
The only thing I struggled to find was the TRW part number for the carrier. Should of taken a pic of mine before fitting.
Anyway here are the part numbers for these calipers, brake discs and dust shields. If you use the TRW part numbers, you will save a small fortune than going through vw, tps or LLL parts.
Carriers are the only the part that costs more than the calipers if buying new, as I only have the vag part number and you will pay vw audi tax.
Everything bolted up perfectly. Do not need longer brake lines.
I just needed 6 new dust shield fixing bolts.
Pads are supplied with new m8 caliper to carrier sliding mount bolts.
Re bleed of the system and everything is spot on.
Bonus I've now eliminated that annoying rattle from the front.
Correctly diagnosed by the mechanic from last weeks poly bush install, that found the retaining spring on my previous calipers had a bit to much play and both parts of the calipers would rattle against each other when driving along and suddenly hitting cracks and deviations in the road.
Part numbers are for the black painted ones.

Dustsheilds are from the mk5 golf platform as the newer ones from the mk7 look completely different in design and fixing hole positions. Also the hub set up on this platform looks slightly different to that of the caddys.
These are for the 345mm discs. I've ordered some febi ones, same I had on my last caddy. Don't see why they won't fit.
