Touran 4pot mods
Hey,
Anyone know where you can get your projector lens etched in the uk? Loads in the USA but can’t find any in the uk.
Also been looking for some circle piping preformed, but can’t find anything anywhere. Can’t even figure out what they would be called to do a Google search. Would vinyl wrap just peel off in the head lights with the heat?
Regards

Hi, EM tuning offer headlight lens etching. Not sure what you’re meaning with the piping so sorry I can’t help you there. I personally wouldn’t use vinyl inside the headlight as I wouldn’t have thought it would last.

I've seen some kids etching stuff in the past. You cut out the paper and stick it to whatever you want etched, then paint on this stuff that makes the glass/plastic look etched.
Amazon probably do it

I thought this was for touran 4 pot calipers?
What do you want to etch on your headlights?
People paint the insides.

Re: Touran 4pot mods
Ohh, I've not seen that. Does it affect your beam at all?
I like the second one most out the 2.
In the past I've 'etched' perspex by putting a mask on it and grit blasting the bare bits. In addition to the paint previously mentioned you can also buy sticky sheet stuff for 'frosting' windows that you might be able to use for a reversable finish but I don't know how it would get on with the heat.

Why do you like the second one best?

These are mine, probably closer to the first one, doesn’t affect beam pattern whatsoever.

Re: Touran 4pot mods
EMtuning done them for me in early 2018, so coming up 5 year old now, but still just as good as when first done.

Just personal preference I guess, I feel they look cleaner.
Lister, they look mad, like a flys eye.

Re: Touran 4pot mods
Does anyone know if the inside of these old style lens can be cleaned. As I’ve read some have a a special coating on the inside?
