The pedal should separate and then the R top piece can go onto your caddy lower piece. The lower pieces are different as the Caddy and golf have different positions for the pedal.

As Doc said you can slide the R aluminium piece out of the side if you separate the plastic part stopping it coming out and slide it into the caddy body then it all fits

Thanks doc so I tought but looking into it my caddy pedal is completely different and don't think the R one will fit it...unless mine is from a touran or something?even backs of the top part of pedals are completely different if you know wat I mean..

Yea it does mate the caddy one is on long pin going through the pedal and body and R one slides out the side..

Strange maybe one the previous owners switched out my pedal before?ah well back to the drawing board

Didn't get to start my engine swap this weekend as could not get the time off work so have booked few days off on 11th to get it done...

In meantime have done few bits.

Purchased some caddy life b pilar trims,got them fitted looks good,also fitted auto headlight switch and module,

My r32 look rear bumper has arrived and I also got myself a hybrid vaddy front bumper mk 7 gti welded to caddy bumper just to get them painted now.

Av also got my tank ready with r32 pump fitted and new regulator (filter)ImageImageImageImageImageImage
