Footwell lighting

Caddy footwell light , struggling to find a good flat location to mount the drivers side footwell light any tips or tricks please, do vw sell and specific holders for these to tuck under the dash ?

I fitted mine today here. Firstly I fitted in the area behind but it was kind of hidden behind the clutch pedal. I move it forward and it’s much better.

Can you advise where you got these from and looms?

Im after a set. Do they go red when driving and white when door opens ?

Got them from Stanthevwcaddyman. He’s a member here in this forum and he’s also on insta. White when doors open and red when closed with side lights on yeah.

They look mint pal was it easy enough to wire them in did you get instructions how to fit

Cheers lad! They aren’t difficult to fit at all but may be a bit challenging depending on your experience with Vw connectors and housings. The kits are supplied with instructions yeah. You need to be comfortable re pinning connectors and taking wiring loom out of door etc. There’s some coding involved to get the white ones working also as they are using “puddle light” circuit. The red ones are using switch illumination circuit.
