Re: Footwell lighting
Love it really makes such a big difference and the door lights fitted well are ace , I have cut mine into the trim on the side of the gear shift surround but I am not sure I should have gone in a different location.
Where is the passenger side on fitted mate please ?

Re: Footwell lighting
The other door pocket is in the same location. They take a bit of time to measure, cut and file out so they fit nice and snug but worth it. The other footwell light is just in the middle of the foam underneath glove box! I didn’t take a photo of that one! Makes the world of difference to the feel inside the cab. I plan on fitting mirror puddle lights soon too.

Re: Footwell lighting
I am gutted as I cut the small clip on panel , and it’s was mint , I should have put it in the foam I think , I put the w8 pasat light in that’s another really good addition.I agree it adds a nice feel in the darker times , top work mate

Re: Footwell lighting
Hi. I don’t have a diagram specifically for them and even if I did, my van being a mk3 will not be the same diagrams as a mk5 so bear that in mind. All you need is a ground point, feed from switch lighting circuit (pin 25 in the 32 pin plug at door module) and feed from mirror puddle light circuit (pin 10 in mirror plug at module) Remember that your van is probably a different platform so will be different.

Re: Footwell lighting
Switch illumination fees will light your footwell lights. There’s probably plenty of places to pick up a feed. I’ve never even sat in a mk5 so I can’t advise. I would suggest starting a new thread about it. There’s a few Vw gurus here that may be of more help.
