Been searching for a caddy for around 4 weeks now can't seem to find one in right year and colour in dsg just wondering what cost roughly would-be to have 66 plate caddy converted from manual to dsg,

Thanks in advance

This totally depends on the price you can get the gearbox and selector for. Used prices range wildly as it's totally up to the guy in possession of the used part as to how much he wants for it. I've seen DSG boxes listed for sale for £400-2000. If you are going to buy new parts, at least double that higher end price.
You are looking at 2-3 days labour for a mechanic/auto electrician to get it in and working.

I’ve done a few of these conversions bud and it honestly transforms the van it really does!

I happen to have a very low mile dsg 7 speed box from a 68 plate Caddy that I could supply and fit for £2500

Cheers

Hi bud, yes it would be perfect for your potential 66 plate van.

Work would take approx 3 days as doc indicates and pm me to discuss dates that suits you as I’m quite flexible

Cheers

I would personally say yes! I’ve got a converted 2.0tfsi dsg caddy and I’ve never looked back! The gear changes are great and I’m a lazy driver😂 If you’re anywhere near Huddersfield HD Caddy did mine.

Heff and his good friend medz converted my mk3 caddy to tfsi.
Fully recommend them for this work. Did a fantastic oem finish on my van and 2 very nice blokes too.

Hi. Just wondering if anybody could help me out. I'm looking to fit a dsg6 from a skoda car in to my caddy3 1.9tdi factory fitted dsg6. Question would it just be plug and play or are there any other issues?. Thanks for any advise.
