Seat panels will be later as I have not ordered in the steel. But started on the ply and looking at making up the TV mount mounting.
Also repositioned the BG lights and added individual switches so they none have to be on.

Right TV mount mount.
First need to give the front mount something to attach to.
Then happy days. Viewable from any door if needed.
And it folds out of the way.
Not having any feeds from the head unit this time so just need to do the simplified wiring.
Will do the power feed hidden but the arial will be external as needed.

More work done prepping the “house” electrics.
Fitted a fuse up front, replacing the BG cut out.
Then got on with the VSR fuses and cut outs.
Will mount the inverter correctly later.
Need to make a holder for the charger.
Fits.
Mmm vinyl or 4 way?
Do need covers for the cut out terminals.

Re: Time to start a new build. Ex BG maxi. Hereford.
So, have a bit of a drive on Sunday so as some of you may have seen I have had wear issues with one side where the carrier and pads were replaced. So today was new discs and pads.
This is what I took off.
FFS
Yes that is the two pairs of pads I took off. Not one new and one old.

Well it was the rear brakes next.
Four different makes have now been removed.
So now I could get on with doing what I had started.
The electric side is now ready for paint and carpet. Well after another hole has been cut.

Re: Time to start a new build. Ex BG maxi. Hereford.
Sooooo when doing the pads I had noticed that the wheels felt springy as I tightened up the bolts.
I had also noticed the same feeling when coming off the brakes.
I had had a bar on the rear bushes when I changed the pads but thought mmmm it’s going to be good weather this weekend.
Popped into the local motor factor after having been to TPS for the bolts. Arm without ball joints were more than a pair from the factors.
May still recondition the VW ones so I have spares. The 70/80 wheel vibration has gone. But I did not get as much done on the inside as planned.
The offending items.
Yes they pressed out that easily.

Having now bought a replacement rear door grab handle I have fitted my second rear view camera. It is the default reverse camera but can be viewed at any time like the other.

Re: Time to start a new build. Ex BG maxi. Hereford.
Well after having to play around with fixing stuff I have finally got the sides in. Just need topping of the the worktops.
But before that I need to run the electrics from the living battery.
Then to make the seat board frames to support the cushions.

Re: Time to start a new build. Ex BG maxi. Hereford.
“Seat” bases made. Trial fit tomorrow. Then some Rivnuts and paint and some carpet before getting the boards cut.
Actually Rivnuts won’t be done till the boards are cut as they will be needed to position the holes for the Rivnuts.

Mmm, ain’t going to work.
Was planning on inserting a 16mm rod into the support rail.
Like.
That is a 12mm bar as for some reason a 16mm will not fit the 20x20 I used but does fit some 20x20 I bought on Friday. Both with 2mm walls odd.
Need to have a rethink. Might have to go back to the way I did it on the T4.
A bolt on leg.
