Were not too far from each other, I've not had chance to check my van yet, if I've got a new one you can have it ;)

Sorry, I've not got any bullet locks in stock atm.

Incidentally I thought Ledbury was in Shropshire?

Time to fit the tow bar.

Got to love the Wera bit driver for jobs like this.
Image

Don’t forget about that extra bolt on the right hand side.
Image
Why?
Image
All fitted just needs lifting slightly to support the bumper.
Image

The manuals you get nowadays are a bit poor.
This is for the routing.
Image
So is that crossing back under the floor?
Or is it up the rear Pilar across the roof and along the contrail to the A pillar and the the switch?
Think I will have to temp route it to see and the run it properly.

Ok the routing . I went up and over the rear opening and then followed the loom into the cabin and should have enough to plug into the fuse box when I understand where I am plugging in to.
Image
Then I finished off the wiring to the socket. Just need to fit th3 grommet and tidy the wire away.
Image
Image
The reversing sensors were fubar so am going to have to have a think about what to do with them.

While I was there I thought I would have a look at why the previous owner would have done this.
Image
The reason was that the door latch did not work untill the last part of the motion and was quite hard to operate.
This can be adjusted by resetting the activation rod.
Image
Pop the locking sleve up.
Image
Pop the rod out
Image
Put back in where you need it to open the door nicely and pull the sleve back down.
Image

Now to find a suitable replacement number plate light holder.

Sorry to jump on, I am new here, just in process of buying Ex British Gas caddy maxi, do you know what is under the vents on the roof and side door? I have attached pictures, is it a hole or is it something that can be deleted easily?
Any help greatly appreciated

The roof will be a hole as it is a vent. Mine is older and has a different roof vent. The thing on the door, story no idea, mine does not have that.

Been a fun weekend with village activities on the only day with good weather.

Today got the wiring done and my trailer tester tells me I have it wired up correctly so that’s a bonus.

Then I thought I might just see why the radio is not being a radio. Pull it out and find no aerials attached to the back of it. Find one DAB connect it and I have DAB radio. But no FM need to have a fish for that later on.

Had a slight moment when the wipers weren’t working. Then I shut the bonnet.

Today has been mainly removing all the BG wiring
Image

Does anyone have any info on the function of the circuit on the end BG power supply?
Image

It seems to have some interesting voltage outlets.

Also looked at fitting the Elk Finders.
Image
Bought them when I lived in Sweden as you needed to see the Elk so you could miss them.

Will need to add some strengthening behind the number plate to hold them.

V5 came through at last. Tax it. And took it for a run. The BG speed limiter has been removed. But there is a noise from the rear. From what I have read the shocks are gone. They look like originals but the upper covers are just about rusted away so I guess even though they are not leaking I don’t think there is any fluid to leak!

I will also need to lower it. Feels worse than the old T4.

Does anyone know the name or have a part number for these wheels? One of them is it poor shape and could do with replacing.
Image

Yes I know I can take it off and have a look for a part number and I will do later but ….
