Amazes me the level that BG went to while fitting out their caddys, love the colour as well- most setups here in Australia for government is Toyota Hilux's or Toyota Hiaces- looking forward to continue seeing your progress with this.

The Rhino rack had to go. And is now available.
The BG aerials are gone. Holes filled with Rivnuts
Great positioning.

Today has been another one of learning the BG Van foibles.

Had this on the fuel filler. It only allows a diesel nozzle to fit and open the flap. Wanted to add some additive and was also concerned about emergency refilling.

Asked in Caddy chat and got some great info.
Front passenger seat out. Rummage at the bottom of the B pillar

Apply some force to the yellow thing and it unscrews

Seen a few comments about people not being able to open the rear doors with a trailer on the back.

First time using my trailer with this van.

Having a sort out and threw the seat cushions that I had made for the T4 in the back of the caddy.

Will be used in this build.

This van has a fresh MOT. There has been a bit of a bang at the rear. Thought ARB bushes. But when I grabbed a shock I could see it was worse. One is a fail and the other an advisory. They were not actually leaking but WTF.

I don't know what your worried about, those shocks look fine to me. A bit of hammerite paint and they are sorted

Todays little win. Bulb out warning on dash. Every seemed to be fine. But there were no DRLs on. Change bulbs warning light goes out. VCDS tells me they have been blown since 2017!

Yesterdays loss. One flat tyre = 2 new front tyres.

Today.

Cut out the finishing parts of the passenger side of the bulkhead. Need to loose more of the edge.

Then it was time to see where I might fit the “leisure battery”

Currently used to start the race car and power the amps.

Most likely swap it out for a proper AGM of the same physical size.

One more rattle and bang sorted.

Rear ARB bushes changed.

Speaker wires added to the Quad lock for the rear upper speakers.

Just need to sort the high level brake light and reversing camera.

Then it will be time to get some structure in it for seats sink and storage.

Oh might fit the TV tomorrow.

Going to have fun running the new auto lights sensor and finish off wiring the front fogs.
