So had the doe/cvrt test today …failed beacuse the vin number beside the jack in the rear has been carpeted over ….
What is everyone doing to get a round this ? Removing the carpet each test ?

Make a flap. VINs are checked so need to be seen.

Vin in windscreen yes but they need to see it stamp in the rear aswell …

Had that same issue few weeks back, never thought about it throughout the whole conversion, thankfully its just above the bed frame, some surgical work with a blade and it still sticks back down out of sight might add a velcro strip if it peels.
