So having already changed the key casing, got all speeds of the fan working and got rid of the roof bars, today was the first time I could spend a good amount of time on it.

So today's achievement was replacing the factory speakers with the Vibe Optisound kit, installing the tweeters (mine didn't have factory fitted so I had some fun trying to route those wires ) and then replacing the head unit with the RNS315. All sounds good but i don't have Audio Media via bluetooth at the moment (that's one to sort when I can but any ideas gratefully received [Android user]) and obviously I need to install the aerial. I went with the Eightwood roof mounted shark fin but that involves drilling so left it for the day as i was losing light and my judgment is ropey during the day. That'll sort the DAB and GPS and improve the FM. Winner!

Awesome day. Today I got the RNS315 working with the media and phone by bypassing the existing BT module. That is a complete arse to get to but got the seat out, dug for treasure and there it was in all its controlling glory!

Also testing the roof mounted aerial all works correctly before I have to nervously drill a hole in my roof. I need more confidence to give that a go but hopefully by the weekend!
