Hi yet another issue with my van , the adblue light came up the other day and a warning saying no start in 600 miles, I’ve since topped it up it took about 5 litres but the light still hasn’t gone off I’ve drove it around hopping that would sort it but no luck. The milage warning hasn’t gone down from 600 miles so don’t really know whats wrong. Does anyone know whats wrong or how i can turn the light off?
Cheers

Sounds like you have over filled it. So it now can not read the level.
Just drive.
Just drive.

Re: Adblue light not switching off?
Is there a certain amount to put in? Ive seen something online saying some cars tell you how much but mine didn’t say anything like that.

Re: Adblue light not switching off?
Mine has a min/max level, max being 1.25g I think, sometimes mine takes a few drives to realise it's been filled up as well, I'd give it a few days before you start to worry.
Iv also read alot about being overfilled but mines been filled up to overflowing several times and never caused an issue

Re: Adblue light not switching off?
Hi,
Did you resolve this ?
I have the same problem, when the van got to 650 mile range i put 4 litres of redex adblue in , it didn't reset so i ran it for about another 50 miles hoping it would reset it didn't.
so i put another 3 litres in and it still didnt reset.
so it's had 7 litres in total and still not reset and now my range is 400 miles.
Starting to panic now

Re: Adblue light not switching off?
Just to help anyone in an emergency situation.
My ad-blue range stopped updating, was like this for over 1000 miles. (I knew it was on 3000 last time it updated, despite being fully topped up)
I ran a full diagnostic scan which showed an o2 sensor fault (no light or errors on dash) I cleared the fault and straight after the mileage for ad-blue reset to 5000 miles and did a DPF regen, been fine since with regular regens.
