Here’s a detailed pic of the painted trim on daylight.

I also did some sound deadening while the interior was disassembled, complete roof from windshield all the way to the back, rear floor and sides. Dont have pictures unfortunately. All of this will be hidden under a carpet lining that will come later.

Oh and got my self finally some lowering bits  super excited for them to be installed. Will follow with updates.
Take care guys

Your van is coming along great 👍
You will excited to get behind the wheel on Monday...

That Foliatec interior spray has turned out good, did u have to clean n prime it first ?
Which colour did u use ?

I purchased these for my Audi wheels
Makes a difference 😉

Hi Stu,
yea its been an amazing run, makes me happy seeing how its changing :)

Went on 5 hour drive on my motorcycle already :D

Yes, I used degreaser and some spray primer. Did not sand it though, I like the texture.
The colour is matte black, most OE looking in my opinion.

I've seen them on few A5 wheels, interesting :)

Ahoj Jaroslaav, van is looking sweet!
I'm just curious if you have to get a safety inspection on all the critical mods (such as the suspension). Is it sufficient for the individual parts you use to be certififed - I saw you mentioned TUV somewhere - or is the process different/more complicated?

Ciao Daxx!
to be honest, every “performance” mod such as wheels, suspension or even exhaust should be tested by vehicle inspectors here in Czech.. I got different wheels and tires size checked and approved. The suspension has TUV so that will pass the inspection as well, but Im not planning to do so at the moment.
I suppose that the process is same or similar in Italy, isn’t it?

Unfortunately it's not that simple here.
Most allowed mods require not only a safety inspection but also changes to the vehicle registration document, which means going through the department of motor vehicles (Motorizzazione).
You can modify engine power to a certain degree (only as allowed by the manufacturer) but you will incur in higher road/property tax and insurance rates.
You can not modify/lower your suspension!
Wheel and tyre size can only be changed in accordance with the registration document (mine specifies two different wheel and tyre sizes), otherwise
you need to get it approved (again, changes to the registration document).
Braking system mods need to be re-certified and can only be carried out by authorized garages.
This is just a quick and superficial rundown, but you get the idea. It's a hassle haha!

That’s somewhat same with what’s going on here too. Mine came with only one size of wheels and tires allowed in vehicle documentation. The 19s i fitted had been inspected and approved, but what a nightmare that is..

Makes me always wonder why we have to deal with all of this when in other countries there isn’t any vehicle inspection at all :D

The compliments are well deserved. Your van looks nice!
And since you are happy with your AP suspension, I need to add that to my shopping list.
