First car, first Caddy

Hi all,

i was looking forward for this day last two years and the day has finally come.
I bought my first car at the age of 20, turning 21 on 23rd of December actually.
I discovered this forum over a year ago and I immediately knew I wanted a Caddy. But since I was still young and lets be honest, times are tough, I had to save a lot.
So after a year of searching, and I was really picky, I finally found what I wanted. The previous owner gave me extra winter tires which Im actually going to swap on the current wheels and buy bigger summer wheels later.

2020 2.0Tdi
Pure grey
Color coded bumpers, handles and mirrors
Electric windows and heated mirrors, AC
Factory bluetooth stereo, fog lights and many more features I wanted.
The only thing I'd like to have is a taildoor, but that's almost impossible to find here.

So here it is, I present you my dream car!

I will tune and customize it to my own picture, but it’s going to take a while.
Also if you have any ideas, bring it on

As I mentioned the Caddy came with winter tires, but since they're on steelies, I’m going to swap them on the current wheels.

Thank you all guys for the nice words.

Since it has been a month from the last update, here’s what I've changed on my van since then:

- LED DRL
- LED fog lights
- LED Low beam & High beam
- LED Reverse light
- LED in the boot
- LED license plate light
- Removed the bulkhead
- USB-A to USB-C reduction
- Invisible plate holders
- OEM tinted tail lights
- Tinted third brake light

I also got some other bits waiting for installing. But since it’s still freezing there, I have to wait until it gets warmer

- Sound proofing and insulation
- Midrange and tweeters upgrade
- Rail cover for the sliding door (Will be color coding in spring together with other parts)


The end of to-do things is still not in sight, but we’re getting there.

Next I'd like to do the flipkit with front lowering, preferably with 19in wheels. Will see what pops up.

As winter without snow is very rare where I live, I went on with being creative last weekend. Tried different wheels to find the right size for me.
Best from what I had turned out to be the Scirocco Interlagos.
18x8 ET41
But I still have a feeling, that 19" would top it all up.
In terms of comfort, there’s practically little to no change.
So the hunt is still on for some VAG 19" wheels. Want that OEM+ look.
Anyways, here’s the result. Feel free to suggest what VAG wheels would fit it.

Ahoj! Moc díky Souhlas, až bude počasí, půjde níž. Jen škoda, že u nás nejde vůbec mic sehnat. Německo vše o 50% dražší než mají kluci v Anglii. Chtěl jsem objednat komplet podvozek od ST Suspensions, ale jen clo a daň byla 6000.. doprava skoro 3000. To se mi teď nevyplatí, navíc u nás málo kdo má zkušenosti se snižováním Caddy.
Nejspíš teda koupím dopředu pružiny, nějaké kvalitní, asi Eibach. Dozadu klasicky flipkit a kratší tlumiče. Kola chci sehnat 19, uvidíme, jak to dopadne. Seznam je velký, ale stejně tak drahý
