New Work Van

Decided to buy this 2017 SWB Reflex Silver Caddy that needs a bit of TLC. The mechanical side is all good with extensive history but the bodywork is a little rough around the edges so this is where I will start with this project.
Plan is full re-paint with some bumper / body mods to start.
Front bumper cut and a Golf mk7.5 grafted ready to bond, fill and profile. Planning to do a Tiguan r hybrid rear bumper but waiting on a used bumper to cut up!
Tailgate is peppered in small dents where what ever load they have had in there has been trying to escape!! Nothing that can’t be fixed.
Will hopefully get some more done over the next couple of weeks. Working with cars all week as a day job means I don’t usually have much enthusiasm for my own vehicles but I’m looking forward to getting this one done.

Does anyone know what bumper this is?
Also interested to know how much people have lowered their vans by and still use them daily without too many issues with speed bumps etc.

Few more panels fitted today and a few more prepped ready to paint. Will hopefully have everything finished up paint wise tomorrow.
Starting to look like a van again and need to start looking at wheels and suspension. Been looking at some 19” wheels but not sure what the ride will be like for a daily driver and wonder if 18’s are a better option. Also not sure what to do suspension wise.

Bit more progress today. Waiting on a few parts to finish fitting up the external panels but pretty pleased with it so far.
Decided to tint the rear lights so will do that tomorrow and will hopefully finish fitting up the tailgate with all the trims and rear spoiler along with the skirts.
I will need to sort the wheels and suspension next as it’s going to look silly without them. I have seen a few people running 235/40/19’s as it gives a slightly better ride than running a 35 profile so may go that route as it will be used as a work van.

Van is pretty much done externally for now. Suspension and wheels all fitted and pretty happy with how it is sitting but will wait and see what the ride is like.
I’m think I’m going to have to get the adblue removed as I can not fit the fog lamp into the hybrid bumper on the n/s as the tank is in the way and I can’t see any other way around it.
I have now started to sound deaden the interior for carpeting and we will hopefully be close to done. (For now)
