That looks great mate, nice work.
Where did the wheel arch kit come from? Looks like it also covers the lower side panels, is that correct or am I seeing things?
Thank you!
This one comes from KM-parts in Finland but TransporterHQ in Ireland sells them too.
Yes, that is right. Only the sills are painted.
Great, thanks for the lead. I see they have them for the Mk3 too, which is what I have so that's great.
I've been unsure as to what aesthetic to go down with mine when I start modifying it. I love a lowered van with nice wheels, but I live in a rural area, up a mountain, where the roads have built-in massage function. So I'm very much leaning toward AT tyres with a mountain edition look like your Caddy
My my those black sills and lower panels look surprisingly good! Tbh I would've hesitated to go with it but loving that end result! I really stands from the crowd of body colour bumpers and such.
Picked up some POLO GTI seats out of a car with only 2500kms. Now just figgering out the wiring as one of the seats connectors are cut off. But shouldn't be a big deal.
Looks amazing nice to follow a project that’s not a show van
some practical upgrades sir I’ve just got another caddy to add to the club
and want to do a camper / adventure van
Il be sure to follow this one
Ive yet to properly start on my caddy (only had it a few weeks) but I’m in two minds about going more lowered/big wheels or swamper but seeing yours looks brilliant! Love the arches and side trims.
