I am Roy from Belgium. I recently sold my '17 Seat Leon Cupra 300 for a Caddy!
I started 3 months ago with mountainbiking and didn't had a proper way to transport the bike & bordercollie dog.
So sold the Cupra, bought this Caddy.

Well the plan is to build it in a little offroad look..

-16" black steel wheels with Falken Wildpeak all terrain tyres
-Isolate and cober the rear with fabric.
-Silver frontbumper trim (or Alltrack frontspoiler)
-black sidebars
-smoked taillights
-ledbar in bumper
...

Bought some 16" Sharan steelies, painted Matt black & installed some Falken Wildpeak tyres.

Small update here.

Fitted some dark taillights



Went for a week to the German Eifel, visited the Nurburgring (every evening) and enjoyed riding my MTB and walking my dog.
Fully loaded





Thinking of installing a 30mm lift kit on it, but not sure yet.

You are considering to make it higher for offloading?

What a difference a wheel makes. What size tyres did you opt for? I've got those tyres on a 1993 2 door Range Rover, proved great in mud and snow but they've not lasted as long as I'd hope (but hey, you get what you pay for I guess).

Sort of, sometimes taking some dirt roads to find nice spots to walk.

These are 215/65r16 Falken Wildpeak. The biggest size possible haha. I hope these will last a couple years, but always had performance tyres and they also don't last long.

Went to the Belgian Ardennes last week.
Went on some dirt roads for some beautiful views.

Looks like a dream!

Pulled the trigger and got a arch kit. And had the sills painted black.
Couple weeks ago also had the rear windows and a sunscreen banner tinted.

The fitment of the arch kit is not that bad for the money!




The next thing on the list is some roofrails.

Really love what you have done.
I know many people paint the bumpers and that ups the class of the Caddy but keeping them black is super practical and with the details you have added totally changes the look.

Looking good mate. Surprising how some simple mods completely change the look.

Where did the wheel arch kit come from? Looks like it also covers the lower side panels, is that correct or am I seeing things?
