Spray Painting Interior

Hey everyone, I have recently attempted to paint the interior light grey plastics to match in with the dashboard darker grey. See below.
However, when I painted it I never really put much thought into it and didn't use primer or lacquer so the paint is just basically rubbing off the plastics. I am using Halfords S1-130 spray paint to paint it as it is a near perfect colour match. See below.
Im just wondering if anyone has any experience or any suggestions as to which primer and lacquer I should use as there is loads to choose from and I dont have a clue what I am doing. Thanks!

Halfords have a grey plastic primer and a black plastic trim paint. I used them to paint a lower trim. Good results but then the trims are lower down and less visible. Generally these plastic trim paints do a good job. There are better quality paints than Halfords so worth looking at a automotive paint specialist for top results.

Any plastic adhesion promoter should do the job, they are usually a transparent liquid. I usually use upol brand if im applying it with rattle can.
It looks like you don’t need a clearcoat as it’s already built into your gloss paint and should offer UV protection. If you want addition scratch protection you could apply a clear and you could just use the Halfords brand.
Make sure plastics are clean and best to scuff them with a scotchbrite pad.

Considering the effect of the sun, I do not think it is appropriate to use spray painting in interior.
