Advice sought . Barn door swap.

Just got myself a 63 maxi.
The larger rear barn door has a nasty crumple at the bottom . So the door has to go.
I’ve managed to get a complete salvage door, in reflex silver. For just £130. It would have cost more to get door professionally repaired. Just need some pointers on how to swap out.
I’m guessing I’ll leave the hinges in situ when I take out old door.
It’s the wiring I’m more concerned with.
Any help appreciated .
I am mechanically minded and have the correct Vw tool bits etc.
just didn’t want to make any newbie errors.
