Iv still to carpet them as u can see. What i did was cut out the wooden bases. Then drilled a hole in the middle and routered a chanel in the back from the outside to the center hole for the speaker wire to sit in before i bonded them onto the side wall.

Got them in, and what a difference a good pair of speakers make!
Really happy with how they look, the placement is spot on.
That's the back pretty much done ImageImageImageImageImageImage

Happy days! Lookin good. I was going to mount mine in the roof but didnt want them interfering with the roof panel or the glow from the led’s. Top job mate.

absolutely stunning caddy! when you were retrimming the door card, does that wee carpeted bit pop off or is it a case of tucking the material in around the old stuff?

Hi mate, thank you, appreciate it, it does come off yea, not the easiest thing to get back into place though as it's "plastic welded" with little round donuts, they need cutting off, other people have reused them and fixed them back on with a soldering iron but I just bonded it back on with tiger seal, seems to have worked ok. These door cards are temporary while I wait for the alcantara ones anyway so I'll be doing it properly on them.

I did! It's only a new work van, she hasn't gone anywhere!

If a caddy had 3 seats in the front I would of got another one, and couldn't justify the cost for a transporter...which was what I originally wanted.
Saw this pop up today, 21 plate with 13k miles for £12.5k, will do nicely as a work van, which I don't have to keep pristinely clean all the time. So I'm happy with it. Picking it up hopefully early next week.

Heart dropped when I read that, then I read back a few posts and realised you're retiring it as a work van, not for good!

The Caddy is looking well sweet dude, as for the new daily fair play. I've been using a Peugeot Partner EV for the last few weeks as my Caddy hasn't been too well. Nice to drive something a bit different, even if it spends most of the time on charge

Thanks mate, hope you get yours sorted soon. Hopefully picking it up today if paperwork goes through... I was close to getting a partner but didn't really want a white basic one which is most of them , then saw this one pop up with a decent spec, got alloys, rear camera, mfsw.

I saw quite alot of the electric versions) they seem quite cheap with such low miles! But the range scares me, I do 120 miles a day sometimes and the range is about 170. It did cross my mind for a second.... Then thought na get a diesel!
