ACC ?

I just ran my option codes through the spreadsheet for VAG options, I have this as standard:
3V0 Adaptive cruise control high end without Inno Drive
I know I have CC and it works fine, what is the adaptive part about? Is it actually ACC I have?

All what i can read, yes. It should automatically maintain the set distance from the vehicle in front of you.
The next higher level is in combination with navigation. This function can automatically adjust the speed based on map material and reduce it before bends.

So from what I can see online, I don't have the distance button mentioned as being on the steering wheel (will take a look and see if the radar unit is visible at the front behind the badge or grille) so does it still work with a fixed distance or does it not function without the button? It's on the option codes sticker in the cabin fusebox so I checked online at elsawin and sure enough, it's listed as original equipment as supplied from new. I am surprised to see that, but it does have CC, Highline cluster, electric windows, Bluetooth phone module, etc so maybe they did pay for the adaptive cruise option too.
It was a one owner commercial vehicle from new, supplied by the dealer I bought it from and I know the company who owned it, so no one has owned and modified it before me, I'm sure.

Update, the back of my front badge is honeycomb (see-through), but behind it there's no radar sensor. I guess my CC can do the ACC if the correct MFSW was fitted, and the radar sensor.

I have the radar and the acc steering wheel, with a van capable of acc because it has the correct steering wheel module but I can't figure out how to code it.
Comes up with a canbus error.
When I turn the ignition key, the acc display pops up on the dash and says "off". I would love to know what os going on with it.

Have you looked in obdeleven after a scan? As it identifies modules and capabilities when it scans the vehicle.

Yep, it says it's capable with what I have, but I must be missing a trick with the coding of it.
Must have scoured the Internet 4 times looking for an answer but haven't figured out what is going on.

Initially it sounds like the dash cluster knows what the function means and displays the icon, but something like the cem has no function in its software for that CAN message, hence the canbus error.
My first squint at the sticker on the roof of my dash fusebox brought me to check 3V0 which was the adaptive cruise without inno-drive.
Now I've gotten a better look at the sticker, the V's are U's so the 3V0 is actually 3U0 = Without luggage compartment cover

so it wasn't something to get excited about, though why a van may or may not have a luggage compartment cover at all, is still a mystery. Wtf.
Do you have the right CC module? If not, then maybe that's why you can't enable it.
Check the codes on the sticker? And is there a set of tick boxes relating to that function in the long coding section for any of your modules on obdeleven?

100% the steering module is correct, I checked it on rosstech.
I think it's just a coding issue.
There is no definitive guide to coding it in, but when I try the obvious, anything with ACC in the description, it triggers the dreaded injector light until I revert it back.
I'm trying to speak to Robert VW about it as he was recommended b someone else who he helped, but I'm still waiting on access to PMs so have to wait.
Frustrating though.

If anyone is reading this and has ACC on their caddy and could upload a vcds or obdeleven data dump, that would really help!

Have you had component protection removed and the required codes enabled on the radar? There is a detailed post in the How To section with all the info you need. You just need to wait for access.
