had my caddy for a little while now but havent done much in terms of upgrades yet. i have some s line seats to fit ..... what can be done about the elephant ear wing mirriors? ... i would like to fit cruise control but cant look art the technical section just yet so any help on that would be great! i have obd eleven for coding which i heard was a great tool for the job?
any more suggestions for upgrades that are easily done would be great.
These days everyone goes for the mk4 caddy mirrors they're readily available and are a straight swap.
Cruise is pretty easy too, replacing the indicator stalk, but you'll need Vagcom to activate it.
I don't personally know much about the OBD 11 tool so I'm not sure if you can do it with that.
these look so much better than the standard caddy mirrors imo ill get a set ordered! i did see a video of people chopping up touran mirrors etc and thought sod that!
ill have a look for the stalks etc and the vcds would that be all i need or would i need the parts for under the steering wheel? i have a 2010m 1.9tdi so pre change over i believe.
Ah okay, I'm not sure off the top of my head, you may need the ring that sits under the steering wheel, like for the loom but that might just need for steering wheel controls
