Caddy MK5 query

Right, so my MK5 Maxi doesnt have the 12v outlet in the rear on the left, just the aperture for it....how easy would it be to add one ? its poss all wired up just needs it adding. also any mk5 owners have the 240v outlet between the seats? is it any good? mine wasnt specced for that and im keen to add it.
