Can anyone confirm 312mm brakes

Hi all can anyone confirm or no how to measure these to see if they are 312 carriers

The disc and carriers change from 280 to 312mm but the caliper is the same on both. That is a standard caliper and would fit either size of disc and carrier. (Carrier and disc have to match however for size, to each other of course)

Yeah I did hear that the caliper in the same it’s the carriers I really want to identify I’ll just buy some 312 disks and for them and see if the carriers fit

TBF I have 312mm carriers and they are huge compared to the normal 280 ones. I think those are standard 280 carriers mate. Could be wrong but just from looking at them.

So just lookd at another set on eBay and pretty sure they are the same

I see what you mean, if they are from a GTi then they must be 312s.

If need be, I have a set brand new which you can have for postage. (312 carriers only) As I bought uprated grooved and drilled discs in 280 size for the van, as I have 15" steels but they sent the wrong carriers - the 312 size instead. So I used the original carriers with new brake discs and calipers.
