Hi all I am coming back to England on Sunday for a month and I am looking to buy a DAB passengers mirror and loom with Fakra plug as I have installed a genuine DAB headunit and a pair of Caddy combi sliding door cards with the door pockets will be around Essex, London and Nottingham. If anyone has any of these parts I can buy to take back to Australia that would be great please let me know. Thanks all on this great forum

I'm certain the dab mirror is the drivers one mate on the RHD models. My passenger one has been replaced, and there were no cables in the passenger door to hook the antennas up to but I do have the DAB plug in the dash at the stereo and use it on mine, so I have DAB but no FM, therefore it must be in the driver's mirror which I've never replaced.

I'm guessing someone pulled the cables for FM back and removed them.

If only I knew ....
I could have put a shopping list together of parts I wanted from the UK lol

I am in Perth WA and I grew up in Aveley Essex by the Dartford Bridge

I used to fly to Perth for work, sometimes once a fn sometimes 3x a week from QLD (aviation)
I grew up near Braintree (abt 1hr drive from you), moved when I was almost 12 (to NZ) so a loooong time ago now

Get all the Touran parts u can in UK, bring them back to Australia and sell them to caddy owners here !!!

I think the passenger side is the dab I only changed that Ariel when I did the aero mirrors and my dab still works fine my old drivers mirror still has the Ariel in with the white plug which is fm

So do you have a mirror with the DAB aerial in it?

Maybe they changed it on the MK4, on the MK3 facelift, the dab aerial is in the driver's side.

On the mk4 FM, dab and GPS are all in the passenger mirror, I’m doing away with them tho and putting a powered body mount on the roof

No sorry when I changed to Aero mirrors I had to take the dab aerial for the new mirror and i don’t seem to still have the passenger mirror for some reason just the drivers

I think u could be right that’s it’s mk4 that has them in the passenger side
