hi all ive been thinking recentley about converting may caddy from 2 seats to 5 seats but i cannot find any decent info on this in ireland i know you can just buy a caddy maxi people carrier and be done with it but id like to hold onto my van. ive got everything thats needed from a touran rear seats belts all the trim ''perks of working in a scrapyard'' ive also got the sliding door with side glass and a tailgate door from a maxi taxi tucked away in work.
but i cant for the life of me find out can this be done. i heard years ago about a euro pallet needed to fit in the back but to be honest who the hell carries a pallet around in the back of there caddy.

Go on YouTube and search "DTETV rear seat conversion", he (DTETV / Nathan Dobson) has done loads. Theres a wee bit of welding mind you but it's straight forward enough.
Here's one of his videos on the subject (Touran rear seats installed in swb Caddy) - nice long video with full details.

there is quite a lot of information and you tube videos on how to do this. you need part of the floor pan from the touran to weld into your van.
a lot just put a lap centre belt, as my kids were travelling in the back I took the touran 3 point belt and that got welded to the back of the van to have a proper 3 point belt.
