Hello..

im new to Caddy2k, bought myself an 08, crew van with AC (needed for hayfever!!) and colour coded bumpers.

mod's so far..

Winter tyres on standard 15in steels
rear dog grill (max got bored in mini and removed handbrake leather and a few other bits plus opening and sprayed a bottle of cola everywhere) can be removed when needed, max comes to work with me everyday.
JVC double din headunit for bluetooth handsfree mainly, cannot make work with iphone fully at mo so might have to come back out!!
Sat nav hardwired in to bin on top of dash.
rear windows tinted.
removable towbar to taking classic mini pick up to shows etc.

next mod's

fully line out with carpet and insulate plus fit pull out day bed.. bad back.. cannot sleep in tent anymore!!

summer wheels, nothing massive as i do a lot of miles and i'm a bit bored of really expensive tyres!!!! sad i know!!!

images to to come once i can work out the uploading system, as i've read in a few of the posts there seems to be a lot of people having problems the 1st time.

A few shots on a rubbish day just before it gets dropped of for carpet etc inside!!

Standard from outside bar the colour coded front bumper

tinted rear windows to hide grills, and it look ace on a black van

rear before i have it trimmed out, you can just see the dog grill

rubbish looking back seats (i have a plan!!)

double din JVC, just need it to work with iphone

And most importantly the winter tyres!!!! these turn the van in to a 4X4 sort of!!!!

Towing

a trip to south wales and back to pick up a car for the old boy.

pulled really well, you could tell the car was there but it ran smooth.

They did a good carpeting job.
I wish I could find someone to do that to my 2007 VW Caddy Van.

12weeks and 10,000 miles on all seems ok with the caddy!!

Set of GT sport wheels for summer, house is down a bit track so didn't want to go massive wheels and rip a tyre off and i do up to 40,000 miles a year!!

as asked ' what was my plan for the floor' well because Max and his bed are almost always in the back it seemed a bit expensive to cover it, dog bed is great for sound proffing and cheap!!

also had a flight case made to go under dog guard to store all my stuff in..

bargain of the van so far are the rocco front seats bought for £220 (inc rear too) then i got £120 for standard front seats on ebay..

so here are my £100 seats.....

i have a plan for the rear seat, just need to find some time to have a mess with it.

next on list..

bit lower!! black head lights and side rail cover.

this caddy world is almost as expensive as my classic mini pick up!!

Also can anyone tell me how to sort the polish/paint work problem out i have..

images taken with iphone as this can only be seen when it's very clean and when the sun hits it at the right angle..

the garage i got it from polished it to remove the van graphic marks, this has only showed up in the sun over the last few days, looks really Sh*t.. i might take it back to the garage i got it from but dont want it making any worse!! and knowing my look it will be a non sunny day when i go to see him, its over the full van but this is the worst bit.. he used 3M polish!!

anyone do van detailing round the colne/skipton/bradford area what to give me a price to sort or has anyone got any pointers please??

They've used a fast cut compound by the looks of it, a meguairs 205 with a soft waffle pad on at a low speed should sort that out, black cars are a pain for it, mine was similar when i got it and i did some research on detailing world and was told to try them, worked perfect and removed all the swirl/hologram marks, luckily i have my own polisher to do it with as i work in the trade. Any decent detailer will be able to sort it out, they might use a different product but they'll still get the same result. It'll also make the black look alot deeper and shine alot more.
