Any tricks to tinting the rear window, with regards to the defroster lines?

Jacked it up and put it on four axle stands then removed all the wheels. Next to cut off the rusty sills and arch rot

Went up to the lakes on Friday for an overnight stay with the with. Took the van and oh my days, the roads!! Every road I went on from Wigan to Ambleside needs resurfacing, that includes the M6

Windows installed in sliding doors. One opener on drivers side.
Was going to have a go myself but waiting for reliable dry weather to do so created a bottleneck to my plans for camper conversation and the extra couple of hundred quid and the reassurance of a leak free fitting will speed things along.
Plus Berkshire Campers sold me some carpet.
Had a tour of the owners very cool self built VW Beatle camper conversation.

Replaced the flaky digitiser that wouldn’t allow me to use part of the screen and added CarPlay. Nice easy job, to do the digitiser, bought a replacement off Amazon and put the new one over the top of the faulty one.

I have been searching for the cause of a drain on the battery so I thought I could check by removing one fuse at a time and testing with a meter. I didn't find it yet but I did find that if you put a fuse back in the wrong place it stops things from working
I have the DSG gearbox and the car thought it was overheating, all sorted now with the fuse back in the right place.
Silly me!!!
Still looking for the battery drain, does anyone have any places I should start?
Thanks

The fronts are a nearly straight fit if you’ve got the right size wheels and you do need to use spacer with longer break lines.
The rears are not as straight forward fit to make them fit you need longer break lines change the bracket over from your original callipers so that the handbrake cable and break lines clip in the right place and you need to make up a new copper break line from the calliper to match up to the bracket to join the new longer break line . All so the ABS wire can’t fit to the bracket as it would originally as it be like a bow string so that has to be cable tied up.
If you want photos of how to fit or any over questions just PM me
