@Rhodesian75 sorry, thought this was the one I'd linked, I messaged this guy when I was thinking of it, pretty sure he said it needed minimal tweaking of parts and was not much more effort than touran dash. Just more expensive from memory.

Pains me to admit it but my caddy has a bit of a rust problem so I am addressing them. Basically bumper, axle, suspension. and a few other spots that need attention.

Rear bumper off

Cleaned mostly

Applied some rust treatment and Hammerite coat on top

sorry for the light and images overall it was pretty messy process.

Cheers

@silraw

Looking good :thumbsup:

Hmmm ? Just wondering, what did you use on your front badge to black it out ?
Looks good too. The spray I used came out brown ???
🙁

Thank you
Yeah, it gives a bit of brown look because of the chrome W, looking from close distance you can still see it. I used lacquer with added black paint on it, and 5 coats of it. Indeed if you give more then 3 coats the brown sees less

I’ve been having a play about with my BMW registration illumination lights today. I swapped the wires around as per @Doc’s suggestion and found they didn’t work, so they’re polarity dependant. Tried a different set of lights and these were the same.
At least I’ve now had a go at splitting connectors and swapping the pins around.
