How do I remove the door cards/panel?
I have searched, and found nothing about how to remove the door-panels on my Caddy.
I was outside and tried, but didn't want to break anything.
Have used google, youtube, searched here, and on MK3 Caddy-forums.
Someone who please could help me?

Re: How do I remove the door cards/panel?
I can answer my own question. There is two screws down bottom. And two screws behind the doorhandle.
Will fotograph when I remove the other side and put up in "How To".

That would be ace
I wondered about the internal handle pull and what that's hooked up to.....
Rear ended and killed
1.9 TDi DSG indian blue wrapped in slightly darker blue lol, now replaced with a new Highline 1.6 TDi DSG bit naked without the logos yet - rather fun but not quite my Audi S4, but makes me smile as much as my 2.6e 80 Cabriolet!!

Think there is something on here somewhere....
The window winders (if your not posh and have them like me) you need to slide the plastic bit under the winder to release it.
As a word of caution, the door card slides off and it's a bit of a bugger to get back on IMO. I'm eyeing up some replacement pins to go behind the card on eBay at the mo. slide it off towards the inside of the van...... Carefully!
Good luck with it!

Slide the door off don't work I think, and absolutly not sliding it back. The clips are built to release when you pull straight out. Will take pictures :-)

Thats it,
Remove the top part of the inner door handle, and remove the two screws. Two more screws are on the bottom of the door card. Unclip the window winder if fitted and, starting at the bottom, pull off the door card. There will be wires to then unplug for the speakers/ electric windows etc

Re: How do I remove the door cards/panel?
Exactly as Tommyzooom says.
Here comes the pictures.
There is alot!
First, the door.

These two at the bottom.

A small screwdriver.

Then you need this two sizes for the two in the bottom, an those behind the handle.

After that, start at the bottom an pull the doorpanel towards you straight out.

The clips are built to release, but ofcourse som will break.

I bought new ones, paid £4 for this little bag.

Release the cables

Tada

One broke, but I will glue it back.

Here one also broke, so I replacet it with a new one.
Here you also see why you can't slide the doors of. The clips are mounted from different directions.

So the doors are of, but I was going to change the whole sound system, I give you a little bonus
Use plastic kitchen tools to provide hurting the interior.

Awesome Tegheim, been wondering how to do this for a while, but never brave enough to try because I usually end up breaking something.
Thanks!
