Yes, they worked out fine after the mod. If you follow my CAD-file, they fit as glove behind the door panels.

Great how-to and lots of good photos- except for how you got the new cables to the door!
How did that happen?

I didn't do pods. I put them in the original position with a steel bracket.

Nice upgrade, I like how you kept everything looking stock. :)

Top job on the speaker rings too, very professional! :D

I've kept everything stock on mine... the RCD510 that the dealer upgraded to fills all my requirements, and the stock speakers that i've got have enough grunt for me... ;)

Thanks, I'm very satisfied. Sometimes the interior will shake thats all.
I have a subwoofer in my mind. But it will be in the summer. A 8" or 10" under the passenger seat will do!

How will the sub fit? It's quite tight under the passenger seat last time I checked.

If you still have the bulkhead in there is space behind the seat under the floor where your passengers feet would go on a touran. It is a odd shape but you can squeeze a sub in there.

I love the sound.
Unbelivble that only a 65" kit can produce so much low freq.
The only thing is that the Caddy itself is a little weak, and the doors sometimes make unwanted noises.

Still havn't desided if I will go for a sub or not.
