Coilovers arrived super quick today!!! Big thanks to "BIG VW" on here for doing them at such an amazing price!

Gonna get those fitted with pics this week hopefully!

Also just gotta get my side rail cover painted and fitted and make a front bracket for it, unless matt hurry's up with his ready made brackets

And still really undecided what wheels to get really.............. 18's...........19's................ :?

as Paul Hardcastle would say:

ner ner ner 19s..

I have no issues with my 19's, the ride is fine, already hit a pot hole, and that wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be..

19's fill the arches nicely, and suit the size of the van better..

But 18's will still be more comfy, but not a huge amount, as you will only be gaining a few mm on the side wall..

yeah im really wanting a set of 19's really i think.

Ride comfort mostly comes down the tyre choice too!

Must say i really like your wheels dooka as well as a few other members wheels, but i don't wanna be a copycat on anyone on this forum to be honest if i can help it thats why its so hard choosing a style of wheel to go for!

Anyway pics.............. :D

Mmmmm, interesting. Personally I found the van well twitchy on 19's with 35 profile tyres - 18's I still think are the best compromise - no taking away from yours, Rob, which as you know I think look cool.

Just a couple of things to tie up with the lowering efforts of this weekend then tweak the ride height once the extra parts have arrived and been fitted ;)

Can't get over how much lower this sits in person

Not great at picture taking, especially when i'm busy but these are the highlights..............

Fronts fitted in these pics, just before we started on the rear end......................Mega RR!!!!

Then onto the rears.....................

And how it stands now................

Like i mentioned theres a couple of nuts for the rear end that were missing from the kit which i should of checked were there before starting but hey doesn't really matter too much!

Still gotta tweak the rear ride height as its a little bit too much "reverse rake" at the mo.

Huge thanks to my mate Andy Laws for all his efforts and air impact gun :D

More to come.....

Feel free to copy my wheels, I don't mind, but check they suit the colour of your van, as wheels will look different on different colours..

I have no issues running 235/35/19, not twitch at all, maybe it was your tyre choice.. Thank you for the complements though :)..

There are a lot of very good looking vans on here, but how they look is subjective, as one person will love the look of the van, and the next will hate it..

I think we will all agree that Matt @ Reflexes van looks the the mutz..

my bro done it in the garage no lift or pit, wasnt too bad but it would have been alot easier if there was. van looks sweet by the way Jon. i was tokin to me cousins fella in dundalk one nite, he has his citreon xara lowered 100mm and he says to me would you lower the caddy... i goes what do ya mean, it is lowered :( but he had another look and seen it was and then i was sayin if was parked next to a standard one you would see it is!!

Thanks for all the positive comments lads!

Took from about 9.30am till 4pm with a lunch break to get it all done outside my house with me and a mate doing it.

Used an air impact gun too which helped things along a bit too!

I managed to source some nylocks untill my nuts for the rear leaf clamps show up from Vmaxx....

So i can report that after a quick test drive everything feels nice about the Vmaxx kit, and im so glad i went for Vmaxx in the end and didn't waste money on a more expensive suspension kit coz the Caddy now feels even more comfy than my Bora does, which is on KW V1's!

Just can't wait to get some wheels now!

Good post dude :D , good luck with your wheel shopping, just a sujestion try photo shopping your wheel choice onto a picture of your van. Because as Dooka rightly says wheels will look different on different colours of vans. ;)
