They were bought used from eBay, Iirc they were advertised from a Renault laguna, for roof rails, as long as they extend long enough, they will fit

Just read through this thread...

When I first seen this colour on the Scirocco I thought it was horrendous... Completely changed my mind.

Lovely van you've built there mate, and i'm even more impressed it's used as a daily work van. :)

Andrew have you towed much weight in a trailer since lowering? Just wondering after lowering does the rear compress much if you load good and heavy? It's a mod I've always wanted to do but not sure how it will handle a heavy load after

I've not towed much, no.
But I have had a fair bit of weight in the back, I had 320kgs of adhesive, plus tools last week. I find the back doesn't compress much further really, whether it hits the bumpstops I'm not sure, but it still handles ok

I never liked the silver strips on the doors, so took them apart and had a go at wrapping them. Turned out well, looks almost like "life" doors
