Turn off bulb warning for LED DRL with VCDS?

Hi there,

Bought some Osram Premium LED 582/382W Cool White 6000K Bulbs. Was told they were suitable for My Caddy 4 and error free..... sadly they are not! Got the bulb warning on the dash :|

Can I disable the bulb warning in VCDS?

Yeah but I don’t now how. Had someone disable mine for me when they fitted cruise control.

I'm in the same position and want to get rid of the bulb warning. I'm sure it can be removed through coding, I'm yet to find someone local to me who can do it. (Preston)

@EdenH - I'm just on the outskirts of Preston mate, if we can find out which setting it is I'll do it for you. I'll have another look in VCDS, might be something obvious I've missed!

I've not seen a way to do it with VCDS but I've not been playing with many Caddy4's.
It can be done with VCP if you know someone with that.

Sometimes it’s just a software update due required, had mine in VW today and apparently that sorts it 🤷🏼‍♂️
