I've thought about it mate, but i'd rather just have an actual car again instead of converting this...

What sound deadening have you used, did you do the sides behind the ply and the roof.

Its flashing band mate, for roofing. Has the same properties as dynamat etc etc but its very cheap!

I done the floor and sides and then thick bubble wrap between the roof and roof lining. ;)

STILL UP FOR SALE DUE TO TIMEWASTER!

Please note I am located in Essex so you'll at least have to be willing to meet in Essex, not Heathrow!

Monday and Tuesday after feeling crap about it being dirty for DC11, I decided to crack out the clay and Makita and give the van a good seeing to.

I'm not one for pics, but this is an un-edited reflection pic of the sun taken with my iphone4 of the roof after a clay and mild compound, but before waxing so that slight haze is now gone.

I'm not gonna even say what i used on this as the proffesional detailers on here will probably laugh but I used a lot of random stuff and it came out amazing i think in the end. Just takes so long with so much bodywork!

Here's a teasing un-edited iphone pic of the finished product.

STILL FOR SALE!

So for ages i've had some carpet sitting in my garage and i didn't like the rear of my van that much aethetically until today....

Before.......

During........ :?

After!!! :D

I didn't have enough to do the sides but to be honest i quite like the contrast and how it came out, especially as i've never trimmed anything before in my life :)

Boring update but picked up an unwanted solid bulkhead for free from Northgate Vehicle Hire after doing a rear seat conversion on one of their Caddy's for them! :D

Its definitly helped cut down the road noise even more which was the whole idea of fitting it so im very pleased :D

Anyone want my old bulkhead PM me ;)
