I salvaged a set from a golf at my local scrapyard and wired them into my replacement CECM (from a VW EOS) and after coding they work a treat, not sure if the Caddy ever came with the footwell option.

You could I suppose wire them into the back of the interior dimmer switch, not sure of the connection point though, there is a thread on the forum with details of the tapping point. This would make them dimmable with the rest of the interior lights.

So don't normally post about things I've done to my van, mostly because I'm always doin mods n stuff, but I'm really impressed with the difference this one has made to how the van drives,
Caddy subframe, Passat B6 wishbones, S3 bushes, what a difference in the handling ImageImageImageImageImage

Hi Mate. Yes it is a W8 interior light. It was one of the cheap ones off AliExpress mate but seems genuine. Came in a genuine vw box and bag and is stamped vw. Ermmm think it was £20 mate. It comes with one end of the loom but there’s a “how to” on here pal to make the loom and it looks pretty straight forward to do. I’ve just ordered the loom parts from TPS mate for pennies.

@Sean1066
The wishbones are from a Passat B6 or you can use Audi S3 ones if you have the alloy subframe they will fit, if you have the pressed steel frame, you will need to change it all for alloy

It's likely yes, but my other van I've just striped, had the alloy cross member, with steel wishbones, , but they had the S3 style rear console bushes

Got my trims back from being carbon dipped and oh my god they are beautiful!!!! Absolutely flawless, can't wait to get them in tommorow. Big thanks to wicked coatings. Couldn't of asked for a more perfect finish! ImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImage
